Forth Engineering Ltd in Barrow are looking to recruit a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice to join their team!

This is a varied 'front of house' role supporting our small team and as such we have high standards in terms of customer care and appearance. Good IT skills, numeracy and literacy are required. A mature confident attitude with problem-solving skills coupled with a bright disposition supporting managers and colleagues with the company activities. Health & Safety responsibilities also form part of the role.

Responsibilities
  • Managing all administrative functions in line with the company's policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining relevant filing systems.
  • Carry out reception duties - meeting & greeting guests/customers.
  • Answering phone calls.
  • Management of First Aid boxes.
  • Management of stationery.
  • Archiving documents physically and electronically.
  • Scheduling appointments and travel arrangements including booking conference tickets, hotels etc.
  • Invoicing and producing quotations.
  • Scanning/photocopying as required.
Skills & Personal Qualities
  • Good IT skills, numeracy and literacy required.
  • A mature confident attitude with problem-solving skills coupled with a bright disposition to support managers and colleagues with the company activities.
  • A self-starter, punctual with a positive 'can-do' outlook on life.
  • As the first line 'face' of Forth Engineering you will need to set the professional tone of the business.
Qualifications

GCSE Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths.

Microsoft Office experience.

Working hours

Monday - Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm
Friday 7:30am-11:00am
