Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 TA to join a thriving secondary school in the Trafford area to support the continuity of learning within a secondary mainstream school.

A Teaching Assistant s Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across a range of subjects.
• Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups to help them reach their learning goals.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and learning resources.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
• Support students with additional learning needs or EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers as required.
• Supervise students during lessons, transitions, and break times as needed.
• Promote good behaviour and encourage positive attitudes to learning.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular and enrichment activities.
