Profile

Our client is a well-established Legionella/Water treatment company, providing high quality services to various clients within healthcare, local authority, education and retail sectors in the Southeast. They are seeking a keen and motivated Legionella risk assessor / plumber based in and around the Dartford area. The ideal candidate will hold a strong background within the legionella/water hygiene industry, undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and carrying out any associated remedial tasks following those assessments. In return the client can offer further training and development.

Experience & Qualifications

• City and Guilds or WMS Legionella Risk Assessing qualification
• NVQ L2 / L3 in plumbing (ideally)
• Strong knowledge of the Legionella/Plumbing/Water Treatment industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation with regards to water services

The Role

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments and perform plumbing duties across a mixed portfolio of sites.
• Dealing with closed systems, TMVs, chlorination, cleaning, disinfection, and water sampling.
• Find faults and diagnose problems efficiently.
• Sign off and complete checks in relation to plumbing works.
• Complete schematic drawings, documents, and reports for clients.
• Carry out remedial plumbing tasks following risk assessments.
• Provide clients and customers with recommendations and pricing for works.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety legislation.
• Liaise and build working relationships with clients.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure works are completed on time.
