A community-focused advisory service is seeking a Legal Services Assistant to support the team in delivering legal aid and guidance in housing and debt matters. You will supervise caseworkers, maintain caseloads, and provide telephone advice. The role offers hybrid working, professional development opportunities, and a supportive environment. Salary ranges from £29,329 to £31,122 based on experience.
You will support the Legal Services Manager in delivering the Legal Aid HLPAS, standard contracts, and the Telephone Advice Service (TAS). You will also assist other team Supervisors by providing advice, guidance, and undertaking delegated supervisory responsibilities. In addition, you will help oversee the development and delivery of the HLPAS, standard contracts, and TAS, including supervising and assisting staff, and acting on behalf of clients in housing and debt matters.
