Legal Secretary (Part-time, Hybrid - 3 days per week)

TSR Legal are proud to be working with a growing South West law firm who now have a brand new opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join them on a part time basis initially. We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide high-level support to the Head of Department and Director. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team on a part-time basis, with scope for the role to develop and grow over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Department and Director
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate correspondence
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and reports
  • Assist with case management, file maintenance, and document filing (digital and hard copy)
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner
  • Support with billing, time recording, and expense management
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with firm policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (ideally with litigation exposure)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management systems
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
  • Team player with a proactive and professional approach
