About the role

Our client is seeking a Conveyancing or Private Client Assistant to join their friendly team in the harbour town of Porthmadog. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their conveyancing or private client department, assisting with various administrative tasks related to property transactions, wills and probates.

PLEASE NOTE, Candidates with strong administration experience will also be considered. Legal experience although advantageous, is not a must

Responsibilities
  • Assist solicitors in preparing and processing legal documents.
  • Conduct searches and gather relevant information for clients.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure smooth communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is organised and up to date.
  • Handle client inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the legal process.
  • Support the team in managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
About you
  • Previous experience in a legal environment or knowledge of conveyancing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
