A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Residential Conveyancing department. Our team is passionate about providing excellent service to clients and ensuring smooth property transactions. Due to growth, we are now looking to expand our team with a Legal Assistant to support our experienced conveyancing professionals.

As a Legal Assistant in Residential Conveyancing, you will provide essential support to the conveyancing team in handling a range of residential property transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in property law and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.

Salary: £24,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the experienced paralegals, conveyancing executives and solicitors within the team.
  • Sorting post for all fee earners in Residential Conveyancing.
  • Opening and closing client matters.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to gather required information and documentation.
  • Organise and maintain client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Provide general assistance with legal research and queries as needed.
  • Raising bills and invoices.
About You
  • Previous legal experience would be great but is not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy diary and work methodically.
  • A positive, can‑do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in liaising with clients.
