Lecturer: Travel and Tourism

Location: Uxbridge, Greater London

Salary: in the range of £33,429 to £46,618 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Our Travel and Tourism section at Uxbridge Campus offers a range of travel-related courses to learners with a focus on the airline/aviation and hospitality industries. Working with local employers at and around Heathrow airport, we prepare learners for careers in the sector and/or higher education.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and successful team on a full‑time basis, to teach a range of Travel and Tourism courses primarily to 16‑19‑year‑olds, from Level 1 to Level 5.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Level 1‑5 Travel and Tourism courses.
  • Assess and support students’ progress, encouraging participation and motivation.
  • Collaborate with industry contacts to provide real‑world learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and assessment planning.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (degree highly desirable).
  • Experience working in the travel industry.
  • Some teaching or training experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
