Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (With BSL 1 )

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, particularly those who use BSL to communicate.

Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students can access the curriculum fully.

Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to adapt learning resources and strategies.

Support students’ social and emotional development, helping build confidence and independence.

Promote inclusion and ensure all learners are engaged in their learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEN or hearing impairments is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
