A leading educational support organization is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to help Year 5 pupils with diverse SEND needs in Walthamstow. This full-time role involves working closely with students, teachers, and SEN professionals to enhance academic engagement and prepare students for secondary school. Ideal candidates should have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, experience with children, and a willingness to support those with SEND.
Location: Walthamstow
Salary: £95.83 per day (Pay review at 12 weeks)
Start Date: December 2025 or January 2026 (Subject to DBS and clearance)

Connex Education is working in partnership with a large, inclusive mainstream primary school in Waltham Forest to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support KS2 / Year 5 pupils with diverse SEND needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This full-time position begins in December or January and offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping older primary pupils prepare confidently for transition to secondary school. You will play a vital role in supporting engagement, emotional regulation, communication skills, and academic progress.
