The Education Network is currently recruiting a dedicated, compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Bingley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to helping young people with additional learning needs achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As an LSA, you will support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, communication difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and other school staff to provide tailored support that enables each student to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with varying SEN needs
  • Assist with classroom activities, learning tasks and behaviour support
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised strategies
  • Encourage engagement, independence and positive learning behaviours
  • Support emotional regulation and social skills development
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care settings welcomed)
  • A patient, calm and supportive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
