A progressive educational organization in Rochester is seeking a Learning Mentor to support students in their learning journeys. The role involves assisting teachers, monitoring student progress, and facilitating personal interventions to build students' confidence. Ideal candidates will have experience in similar roles and the ability to manage diverse learning needs. This role offers competitive pay and a supportive working environment.
We are recruiting an additional Learning Mentor to join our expanding new school, providing support to our students in lessons, identifying their strengths and difficulties. The successful candidates will carry out effective intervention, which may be 1:1 or in a small group, planning appropriate personalised interventions as necessary. You will support teachers to enable our students to access learning by supervising and assisting them across a wide range of supported learning activities.
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, as would the ability to manage the behavioural difficulties and pastoral needs of individual and groups of students.
