Skills/Responsibilities: To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Engage with the Head of People and HR Business Partners to align service delivery to key business needs, identifying and designing relevant programmes and learning interventions to meet business objectives and deliver bespoke solutions. Clarify priorities for Learning and Development interventions, assessing training needs through surveys (e.g., PEAKON engagement platform), interviews, focus groups, or consultation with line managers.
- Design and develop training courses or strands of L&D programmes; incorporate specified L&D methodologies and delivery channels; develop relevant content and high-quality learning resources to ensure high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Take a lead role in the delivery of the MEU-UK Sales Excellence Academy and the Leading with Integrity Programme, working with the Head of People and internal and external partners to organise and deliver all aspects of the Academy.
- Manage, coach and guide the Learning and Development Advisor.
- With the support of the Learning and Development Adviser, offer guidance on training programmes for each business unit which may be supported by the Apprenticeship Levy, working with external providers to put in place appropriate Apprenticeships.
- Deliver targeted skills / competency development sessions or short workshops, engaging, advising, and guiding learners and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcomes. Work with the Learning and Development Advisor to deliver a suite of core skills training for all MEU-UK branch colleagues.
- Coach employees and managers to develop skills and competency and share targeted feedback in a prompt, constructive, and encouraging manner. To act as one of the lead 360 feedback coaches for the Leading with Integrity Programme.
