Overview

CT Lead Radiographer Brentwood Hospital | Diagnostic Imaging | Permanent Contract | Full Time Salary - dependent on experience 37.5 hours

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within a highly specialised area.
• You will participate in departmental QA, audit and all aspects of mandatory training as well.
• As a clinical lead you will enjoy scoping to develop policies and procedures.
• Deputise and support Radiology Manager.
• Supervise and develop other members of staff, including to mentor students and perceptees.
• Work in partnership supporting practitioners and other departments around the hospital.
• See each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
• Excellent communication and team working abilities.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification and HCPC registration.
• Working knowledge of IRMER and IRR; ability to undertake audits. Radiation Protection Supervisor training/qualification would be desirable.
• DBS disclosure is required for successful candidates.
