A leading UK energy provider is seeking multiple Lead Quantity Surveyors across the Central/Midlands region and London. This role allows you to provide essential commercial support on large-scale infrastructure projects integral to the UK's energy transition. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in quantity surveying, ideally with a degree and a strong understanding of NEC contracts. This position offers a starting salary between £61,400 - £78,000, plus benefits including annual performance bonuses and a generous pension scheme.

We’re currently looking for 3 Lead Quantity Surveyors, 2 for the Central/Midlands region and 1 for London. This is your chance to play a key role in the UK’s transition to clean energy!
This is a fantastic stepping stone into management as you’ll be the link between management and more junior Quantity Surveyors.
This role will involve travel to sites and offices and can be combined with hybrid working from home.
A methodical and process driven approach, with strong skills in gathering data and information to accurately assess issues or events.
You’re able to analyse complex disputes to arrive at reasoned decisions, demonstrating flexibility to tackle new challenges at short notice.
With excellent interpersonal skills, you’re able to engage positively with individuals at all levels, presenting facts succinctly and providing contractual advice effectively. You also have experience in mentoring others and developing their skills to enhance the overall capability of the team.
You are confident in making independent decisions using your own skill and judgement, and willing to challenge the decisions made by others.
You have a degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline such as construction management or construction law, as well as extensive experience of quantity surveying and a strong understanding of NEC contracts.
Ideally, you will be a Chartered Surveyor, or actively working towards becoming one, with experience on infrastructure projects. A background as a contractor or consultant would be beneficial.
You also have a driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK. There is an expectation that you’ll be able to travel to sites on a weekly basis, but as part of our hybrid working model, you’ll also have the flexibility to work from home, a National Grid office, or site.
Starting salary of £61,400 - £78,000 dependant on experience - plus an additional Market Supplement of £3,000, plus anAnnual Performance Based Bonus. London Weighting Allowance for the London role.
