A leading consulting and engineering firm is looking for a Lead Project Planner to join their Project Controls team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing programmes and submitting NEC-compliant submissions, while leading a planning team. Proficiency in industry-standard planning software and experience with significant infrastructure projects are required. We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Planner to join the Tetra Tech Project Controls team. Alongside planning responsibilities, this role will support the planning team in their growth and development. There will be opportunity to be involved in strategic decisions for the project controls planning team, working alongside the Project Controls directors.
You will be an experienced Lead Project Planner and scheduler, who will undertake planning and scheduling functions and performance monitoring alongside the supervision and development of the planning team within Project Controls.
You will be capable of planning and scheduling major infrastructure, new build and refurbishment construction projects, including those with significant non-routine requirements. You should be proficient in developing programmes from “first principles” and be comfortable with the concepts of three-point estimates of time, the provision of time risk allowance and production of risk-adjusted programmes.
We are looking for an agile practitioner who can build relationships, communicate with and support the projects and programme teams, while bringing an innovative approach to problem solving and scheduling.
