Job description
Overview

Lead Product Analyst – Yoto

We’re looking for a Lead Product Analyst to join our team to design, build, and maintain the data pipelines, models, and platforms that power insights and decision-making across Yoto.

About Yoto

Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels – think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like this one.

We’re on a mission to be the soundtrack of childhood, and help families on their own unique adventures. By creating products that inspire independent play, we help families discover and grow with an inspiring world of audio – and we would like you to help us achieve it!

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading the way our business tracks and works with product data, from evaluating 3rd party tooling, to creating the right processes and practices for instrumentation
  • Providing key thought leadership to our Product teams, feeding data, analytics and your experience into shaping product roadmaps
  • Hands-on analysis of our data to uncover new insights and opportunities that lead to improved product features and user experiences
  • Working with the rest of our Data team to set the standard for measurement techniques and approaches
  • Working cross-functionally to create the right processes and frameworks to enable better data-informed decision making across disciplines
What you’ll bring
  • Extensive experience as a senior individual contributor in a product analytics environment, successfully delivering quantifiable value
  • Deep expertise in product data, including experience implementing event tracking. A bonus if you’ve worked with both 3rd party tools (e.g. Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap) as well as in-house built solutions
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL, Python/R and experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and BI solutions (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
  • Experience with a variety of measurement techniques, including experimentation and observational measurement
  • A knack for simplifying the complex, telling engaging stories from data, and leading data-driven discussions with senior stakeholders

Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 based on experience
