Qualifications

Lead Digital Practitioner

You will join the team working on our organisations digital transformation (EPR). The post holder will work on a series of assignments that will be integral to the success of Digitising Health Records and will support the Chief Nursing Information Officer in enabling staff to develop and improve patient information systems and processes across clinical services in the Trust. You will need to demonstrate a high degree of commitment, the ability to work under pressure, be able to work effectively with minimum supervision and communicate easily with workforce, patients and various stakeholders. Previous experience working within the digital workspace is not essential but desirable. Full training will be provided as appropriate.

The successful candidates will be based at the Doncaster site, however you will be asked to work at any location within the Trust. Demands on the service may require changes in hours of work or base.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will facilitate and monitor progress of the programmes of work and provide practical support to the clinical teams to take forward service improvement and new ways of working. The post holder will also work with the senior clinical team to ensure alignment of goals and priorities to achieve the overall project plan. Working collaboratively with ICT and Supplier Deployment Teams to deliver new systems to support DBTH clinical staff to include mobile technologies within the delivery of healthcare services. The post holder will work closely with staff at DBTH to deliver paperless implementations of innovative, effective and lasting solutions to complex information requirements. Improving patient safety, quality and patient experience is an explicit priority rather than an assumption and needs to underpin all elements of initiatives undertaken. The post holder will have line manager duties within the Digital Practitioners team.
