ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a new role at Tide reporting directly to the Country Manager of the UK with a dotted line to the CEO of Tide Insurance. You will be a key member of Tide’s Insurance Services Leadership team, scaling our presence in the UK across multiple insurance products. You will be setting up the commercial workstream from scratch. Responsible for defining and owning the go-to-market strategy and commercial success of Tide’s Insurance product portfolio in the UK market. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to drive growth, product adoption, and customer engagement. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep domain knowledge, commercial acumen, and a sharp understanding of UK customer needs.

SOME OF THE THINGS YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Product Strategy & Development: Partner with Product Managers to prioritise product development and shape the Insurance product roadmap.
  • Pricing: Work with the Head of underwriting, product and finance teams to set pricing that aligns with the product value proposition and the competitive landscape.
  • Go-To-Market Leadership: Define and execute product marketing plans, including messaging, positioning, launch strategy, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Sales Enablement: Drive the development of tools and initiatives to support the dedicated sales teams.
  • Operational & Launch Readiness: Work cross-functionally and alongside the Lead Operations Manager to ensure the successful launch and adoption of new features. Support QA, training, and go-live processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Be the central point of contact for Insurance commercials for our Executive team (including CEO of Insurance, CEO of UK and Europe and the CFO). Work alongside our Risk and Compliance team to ensure all marketing material is compliant and fit for purpose.

  • Experience of independently defining and implementing an entirely new workstream from scratch.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to shape marketing and product strategies. Hands-on Looker (or similar tool) skills preferred.
