A leading financial institution is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to design and build cloud deployment platforms. You will work with a passionate team to tackle technical challenges and promote modern practices. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes, and strong communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment. This full-time position allows one day of remote work per week.
The role of Lead Systems Engineer within RBC's Cloud organization has responsibility for designing and building cutting-edge cloud deployment platforms and driving the enterprise's transition to a hybrid cloud environment. This role collaborates with a passionate team of cloud engineers, tackling complex technical challenges, developing innovative multi-cloud and multitenant solutions using technologies like Kubernetes, and promoting modern practices such as Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
This position is full time and will require you to work a minimum of 4 days in the office per week with the option to work one day from home.
