As part of Renault Trucks, you will work a 42.5 hour per week (Monday – Friday) and earn up to £17 per hour with overtime (paid at 1.5 x hourly rate).

About the role

This is a great opportunity to bring your HGV or LCV Technician skills and experience to Renault Trucks, who manufacture, distribute, and market a complete range of trucks and vans across our network of dealerships. You will work closely as a team to ensure that work is completed efficiently, promptly, and with excellence in quality.

Renault Trucks is proud to announce the upcoming launch of our cutting-edge electric vehicle technology's second generation of Renault Trucks E-Tech models as well as announce the opening of a dedicated three-bay LCV workshop in February 2024, specializing in servicing, repairing, and maintaining both EV and ICE vehicles.

Who are you?

You will have experience and be a qualified HGV Technician with an NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will be good at problem-solving and diagnostic skills along with having good initiative and being a team player. You should hold a full valid UK driving License; an HGV license would be advantageous or something that you are willing to work towards and attain.

What will you do as an LCV Technician?

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures
  • Working to the highest standards surpassing manufacturer’s and VOSA standards
  • Fast and accurate fault diagnosis using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Communicate with the Shift Supervisor to ensure that you have valid job specifications and time budget before work commences
  • Following company processes by completing all relevant paperwork
  • Completing thorough safety checks and preparing vehicles for MOTs
  • Ensuring product knowledge and skills are maintained to company requirements
