Job description
Overview

Unit Role: Deliver specialist Raiding capabilities on operations and at readiness generate FE for LRG- operations and Develop SpecOps capabilities to SUPPORT an OPERATE-OPERATE Cdo Force.

Position Role: To ensure all maintenance schedules and administration is completed within the tasking for the LCU craft, ensuring all safety legislation is adhered to and supporting the LCU group to maintain R2 status and operational capability.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all LCU facilities Logs are maintained and kept up to date at all times reporting any inconsistencies to the relevant section head.
  2. Update all UMMs maintenance tasks daily ensuring maintainers are made aware of upcoming tasks.
  3. Order and track stores for day to day future tasking and upcoming FTSPs and Refit periods.
  4. Conduct assurance checks on LCU SSOW and outstanding LOTOs reporting any deficiencies to relevant Section Head.
  5. Support training of ETs within the section.
  6. Organise Task book training as required for LCU ETME maintainers.
  7. Assist Section Head in maintaining engineering standards. Draft S2022s / WRFs / S340s.
  8. Carry out duties of RM Tamar duty crew as required.
