Job description

Core Duties

• Site Preparation - clearing debris, unloading materials, and setting up tools/equipment.
• Material Handling - loading, unloading, carrying, and distributing construction materials to tradespeople.
• Assisting Trades - supporting carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, and other skilled workers.
• Mixing & Applying Materials - preparing mortar, concrete, plaster, or other materials.
• Operating Basic Tools & Equipment - using hand tools, power tools, compactors, or small machinery under supervision.
• Site Cleanliness & Safety - keeping the worksite tidy, disposing of waste, and following safety protocols.
• Scaffolding & Temporary Structures - assisting with assembly and dismantling (if trained/authorized).
• Groundworks - digging trenches, backfilling, and leveling surfaces.
• Transport & Logistics - moving equipment around the site as required.
• Compliance - following health & safety regulations, PPE requirements, and instructions from supervisors.
