Overview

Laboratory Technician

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our busy Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratory as a Laboratory Technician. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about science. The Laboratory currently processes samples for our Production department and our Clinic network, including testing of Dialysis concentrates, Raw materials and water samples. The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, working rotating shifts between the hours of 6am and 6pm. This role will be based at our head office in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and handling of laboratory samples for Haemodialysis Concentrates manufactured on site.
  • Test the water purification plant and clinic water samples.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Participate in quality control procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of supplies.
