I am urgently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to cover a year 3 class from January 2026 for a primary school based in Nuneaton. This position is Part-time - 3 days a week and has the potential of leading to a permanent position for the right person.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

About the role

This role includes the following:

  • Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
  • Working on a full-time basis in a class based in a Key Stage 2 setting.
  • You will be expected to take on all teaching duties including planning, preparing and marking
  • This will be long term cover starting from January 2026
About the school

This school will be based in a 2-form entry school in the Nuneaton area.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Year 3 Teacher in Nuneaton primary school:

  • Be able to work confidently with children of a Key Stage 2 age range.
  • Have prior experience in a full class teacher role, showing experience of leading a class in an important summer term.
  • Be willing to commit to a full time role with full responsibilities regarding planning.
  • Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
  • Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
  • Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Salary based on daily rate.
