Overview

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong ability to engage and inspire children? Do you have experience in managing challenging classroom environments, and a commitment to providing high-quality education for all pupils, including those with special educational needs? We are seeking a qualified and experienced KS1 Primary School Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive team at a primary school in Sandwell. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners in a diverse and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
• Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning requirements.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
• Collaborating with colleagues, SENCO, and other professionals to support pupils with SEND.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
• Proven experience in teaching across KS1, with a passion for early childhood education.
• Excellent behaviour management skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Experience working with SEND pupils, with a solid understanding of the strategies and support needed to help these students succeed.
• Confident, patient, and creative, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player who can work effectively with colleagues and parents.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in the UK.
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Certificate and Safeguarding
