  • Process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
  • Dispose of waste using appropriate recycling bins.
  • Avoid breakages.
  • Ensure crockery and dishes are cleaned properly.
  • Clean equipment and working areas to high food hygiene standards.
  • Close down kitchen each day, preparing for the next day.

Overview

We are looking for a Part Time Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in Garforth Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 24 per week over 3 days. All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
  • Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins
  • Take care to avoid breakages
  • Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used
  • Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
  • Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
