• Carry out general cleaning and servicing of catering kitchens.
• Stock and service fridges at key times.
• Remove waste streams to appropriate bins.

Job description

To perform general duties as required including:

• General cleaning tasks and servicing of catering kitchens, including restock of dispensers, cloths and towels
• Movement of catering stock to designated stores and service points within campus and other outlets
• Removal of various waste streams to appropriate bin compound
• Ensuring that service fridges are stocked at key times of the day
• Complete laundry duties including processing and delivering cloths etc
• Periodic Deep cleaning of key catering equipment such as fryers and ovens
• Clearing and servicing of tables in the dining area

General Responsibilities

• Compliance with all statutory requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, the College Health and Safety Policy and any other relevant procedures
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Line Manager commensurate with the grade of the post
