Debden Retirement Village , based in Newport, Essex is currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant - Bank - Zero Hour Contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for ad hoc kitchen and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for food and making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
  • Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits
  • Assisting with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas
  • Helping to ensure the kitchen meets all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Stocking and organizing kitchen supplies
  • Supporting the cook and kitchen team as needed

Qualifications and Skills:
