About you:

You will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive high quality service. We need someone who is self‑motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Desired but not essential:
  • Food and hygiene certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role however training will be provided
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
  • Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
  • Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures
  • Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents

Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) (depending on role) and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.
