Job description
KS2 Class Teacher – Fixed Term (Now until Summer)

Prospero Teaching are looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming one‑form‑entry primary school in Fareham on a fixed‑term basis from now until the end of the summer term.

Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Fixed term until July (with potential extension)
Salary: From £150 per day – to be discussed with your consultant
Hours: 08:00 – 16:00 (subject to variation)

The Role
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that promote curiosity and a love of learning
  • Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners and ensure strong progress
  • Creating a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports confidence, resilience, and independence
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting your approach to help every child succeed
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes
  • Setting and maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS2 is beneficial, though not essential
  • A reflective practitioner with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • A positive, child‑centred approach and a genuine desire to make a difference
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply
Requirements to Apply
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • Suitable references available on request
