Purpose of the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for growing Camiras business with manufacturers of contract furniture, acoustic panels, and related interior products across South East England, focusing on contract furniture, acoustic applications, and workspace solutions.

This is a strategic sales role for a commercially astute, relationship-driven individual who understands the OEM environment and can translate Camiras product and design strengths into tangible business success.

The day to day

To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements

Sales & Business Development

Develop and execute a regional growth strategy for South East England, targeting manufacturers and dealers in the contract furniture sector, acoustic customers and curtain makers.

Identify and win new customers through consultative, relationship-led sales.

Manage and grow existing customers through proactive engagement, collaboration, and technical support.

Work closely with Camiras Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing teams (UK and Europe) to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Manage regional sales forecasts, pipelines, and KPIs to deliver consistent growth.

Market & Account Strategy

Map and prioritise key manufacturing hubs across South East England (e.g., Herts, Beds, Bucks, Essex Norfolk, Kent, Brighton, Northants, Surrey, Sussex, London).

Build an in-depth understanding of each manufacturers product range, production processes, and design priorities.

Provide insight into market trends, product needs, and competitor activity, supporting the broader UK and European strategy.

Collaborate with Camiras global marketing and product teams to align on new launches and manufacturer initiatives.

Brand & Relationship Building

Represent Camira as a trusted partner to design-led manufacturers.

Present Camiras design, sustainability, and performance story with confidence and authenticity.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and design forums to strengthen brand awareness and local connections.

Candidate Profile
Experience

5+ years experience in B2B sales or account management within contract furniture, acoustics, interiors, or materials supply.

Strong track record in developing relationships and achieving commercial growth.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and integration within manufacturer supply chains.

Excellent relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.

Fluent in English, with strong communication skills across stakeholders and markets.

Willingness to travel regularly within South East England and occasionally within the UK and Europe.
