Are you ready to accelerate your career with a dynamic and innovative F1 team? We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptionally talented Junior Tyre Modelling Engineer to join our Simulation group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins. Our team is dedicated to engineering excellence, pushing the boundaries of technology and optimising performance to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a variety of tyre models, including Thermal Mechanical Models, to ensure they accurately reflect real‑world tyre performance.
  • Analyse vehicle, simulation, and simulator data to assess tyre model correlation and identify key parameters.
  • Support tyre‑specific simulator testing, including test specification, real‑time support during sessions, and post‑test data analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with the performance simulation team to optimise tyre integration for chassis performance.
  • This is a factory‑based role at Enstone. We are looking for someone building their career within F1. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline, a good base understanding of tyre thermo‑mechanical or FE models, and proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or C/C++/C#.
  • Possess a solid understanding of vehicle dynamics, including suspension kinematics and compliance.
