A large healthcare provider is seeking a Junior Technical Support Engineer to support maintenance and management of medical equipment across various sites. The role requires a minimum HNC in Electronics engineering or equivalent and relevant experience in Medical electronics. We are looking to fill the post of a Junior Technical Support Engineer.
The Medical Device Service supports users of medical equipment across all our hospital sites within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Trust.
You will be working in a multi-professional Medical Device Service (MDS), with teams delivering technical engineering, design, innovation and research, governance, library and training services across a number of Care Organisations and community teams. The MDS teams work closely together in a mutually respectful, supportive, and friendly way, exchanging ideas and skills, to deliver a patient focused service.
Ideally you will possess a minimum of HNC in Electronics engineering or a Clinical engineering qualification and you will have some relevant Medical electronics experience since qualifying. Knowledge in the application and use of a wide range of Medical equipment used in a hospital and community is essential, although some specific training will be provided.
Consideration may be given to applicants with reduced knowledge and skills, who follow a personnel development program on a reduced grade.
