Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets
  • Help with cost control, monitoring, and reporting of projects
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and compare against project schedules
  • Measure and value work done on-site, ensuring accurate record-keeping
  • Assist with procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Work closely with senior quantity surveyors and project managers
  • Prepare and submit payment applications and invoices
Qualifications
  • Relevant Third level in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
  • Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD or similar
