A leading grounds maintenance firm is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support operations in the East Midlands. This field-based role requires driving to various rural locations and involves managing a tree works programme. Ideal candidates will have field experience, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for customer service. We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the Contract Delivery Manager in the Arb Utility division at Ground Control. You will be responsible for managing the operation for an assigned programme of tree works around power lines and pylons in the East Midlands area. You will take responsibility for driving the programme delivery for both self, contract KPI targets and our tree cutting teams.
This is a field-based role with approximately 3/4 days in the field and 1/2 days based at home. You will need a driving licence as you will be driving to rural locations on a regular basis.
You will ensure work is completed to the highest possible standards in terms of safety, environment, quality, customer service and profitability. Drive consistency and innovation through everything you do to ensure Ground Control are the best at what we do!
This a great role for someone with basic field-based experience. This could be within the Arb industry but we would also be interested to hear from field-based Surveyors or Installation Engineers or ex Armed forces who are looking for a change of industry.
Any tree or horticulture related experience from a practical or project management perspective would be a benefit but if definitely not essential.
You will need a driving licence as you will be driving to rural locations on a regular basis. Full training will be provided.
