A leading broadcasting company in London seeks a Junior Broadcast Engineer to provide support and maintenance for broadcast systems. The role includes engaging in a collaborative team with a focus on customer service. Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of broadcast media technologies and be willing to work flexible shifts. The Team: You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team of Broadcast Engineers, working together to share knowledge, develop skills and help make brilliant radio, TV and digital products. The team are responsible for complex studio and broadcast systems, managing them to ensure high quality, uninterrupted transmissions.
Your Role: As a Junior Broadcast Engineer, reporting to the Lead Broadcast Support Engineer, you will be joining a team of 8 shift engineers responsible for the support, maintenance, fault management, and readiness of News UK broadcast systems and networks, both at our London studios and on location at outside broadcasts. You will work a shift pattern which includes early, late and weekend working, taking part in an on-call rota to respond to urgent technical issues outside standard hours.
