A leading defense organization in England is seeking a Support Engineer for a one-year placement starting September 2026. The role will involve designing support solutions and resolving customer issues while working alongside the Royal Navy, Army, and RAF. The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering degree and the position offers a salary of £23,495 with a hybrid work pattern and various employee benefits.
CSS UK is the Customer-facing organisation within MBDA, working directly with the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force (RAF). We ensure our products are ready for action when required and are responsible for the definition, development and delivery of support and service packages for all MBDA products. The role may involve influencing designs to ensure products are supportable throughout their service life (20+ years) and working across the Product Life Cycle (CADMID) from Concept to Disposal. There are opportunities to gain a broad understanding of MBDA, our products and our customers.
You’ll be able to choose between a variety of online learning platforms (Percipio, YouLearn, Career Builder and Video Gateway). You can participate in up to £150 of annual funding for further study in your own time, and you’ll have access to our Learning Gateway with a formal course catalogue (virtual or classroom delivery). Management training is available for those who want to lead a team.
