Activate Learning is looking for a passionate and inspiring Information Technology Teacher to deliver ICT-based qualifications within the Createch Faculty at our Banbury College campus.
The immediate focus of this role will be the delivery and completion of our current BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Computing, followed by leading the transition and launch to the new Level 3 T-Level in Digital Software Development, starting September 2026.
You’ll teach a wide range core digital subjects including:
Learners will develop essential skills in data analysis, coding, software development, IT problem‑solving, emerging technologies, and technical troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners are essential for you to deliver engaging lessons that prepare students for digital careers or further study in Computer Science or Information Technology.

This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity based at Banbury College campus.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring practical expertise in programming and software development, IT infrastructure, IT legislation, data analytics and management, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals, along with experience using industry‑standard platforms.
Candidates should hold a qualification or degree in Computing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Technologies, or a related field, along with relevant industry experience in IT or tech.
However, we also welcome applications from unqualified teachers with the ability to inspire learners. We offer support through teacher training to ensure you’re equipped to confidently share your expertise with learners.
