A leading defense technology firm in Farnborough seeks an IT Support Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of its IT environment. This role involves providing hands-on support for hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 services. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT support, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach. Responsibilities include managing IT assets and assisting with cloud migration projects. National Security Vetting clearance is required for this position.

The Role:
The IT Support Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and usability of Saab UK’s IT environment. The role is primarily based at the Farnborough) site but supports users across multiple UK locations.
You will provide hands-on end‑user support across hardware, software, and cloud-based Microsoft 365 services, acting as a key point of contact for IT incidents and service requests. The role requires a strong customer focus, methodical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support a modern, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications & Skills:
As a National Security Vetting clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or have the ability to gain it.
