Role: IT Service Transition Manager

This role puts you at the centre of a high-stakes, high-visibility transformation - one where your leadership defines how essential IT, data and operational services are delivered for years to come. You are the authority, the orchestrator and the driving force behind a complex, multi-supplier transition that won't move without your direction.

Location: West Midlands | Hybrid
Salary: Up to £90,000
What You’ll Lead
  • End-to-end transition and exit from a major outsourced IT services contract
  • Migration of services, platforms, data, people and processes into new providers or in-house teams
  • Alignment and governance across multiple technology suppliers
  • Contractual, commercial and operational compliance throughout every transition phase
  • Senior stakeholder direction—ensuring clarity, challenge and continuity at every step
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale IT or BPO transitions in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of contract exits, legal considerations and multi-supplier ecosystems
  • The ability to map, analyse and restructure complicated IT and operational landscapes
  • Leadership, resilience and influential communication in politically sensitive or high-pressure settings
Highly Advantageous
  • Experience in utilities, energy or regulated environments
  • Background handling TUPE-heavy transitions
  • Exposure to simultaneous operational, data and technology change programmes
