Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Delivery Analyst to join our team in our recently refurbished, modern Head Office in Liverpool City Centre. Working alongside the IT Service Delivery and Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent IT support across Downing sites, working with the Technology team on projects and assisting in maintaining IT infrastructure.

Downing are a family-owned, award-winning leading developer, owner, and operator of bespoke, luxury student accommodation , residential and commercial properties across the UK. We have been operating for over 35 years and currently have 14 operational student accommodation schemes in 10 major cities, with an impressive £1.6bn worth of developments in the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the IT Service Delivery and Infrastructure Manager to deliver a variety of IT services to Downing colleagues located across multiple sites.
• Respond to and resolve IT incidents, problems and requests. Working with support providers as appropriate.
• Implementing server and network changes to build more resilient systems.
• Assisting and training staff in use of end-user computing (EUC) and Microsoft stack technologies, helping them work smarter and achieve more by showing how to make the most of technology.
• Operating effective new starter and leaver processes including building and installing EUC devices.
• Updating and rolling out updates and maintenance to EUC, servers and network equipment.
• Assist with setting up new Downing sites.
• Develop excellent relationships with colleagues across Downing.
• Ensuring IT and data policies are enforced correctly.
• Being an ambassador for technology change.

Key Requirements:

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience working in an entrepreneurial business delivering IT services.
• Technical knowledge of EUC support and administration.
• M365 and SharePoint administration experience.
• Understanding of network devices including switches, routers and firewalls.
• A forward thinking and proactive approach to create secure and innovative IT solutions.
• Able to maintain and support updates to IT infrastructure.
• Awareness of IT and cyber security risks and experience of mitigating risks.

Skills:

• Experience working effectively with IT suppliers.
• Able to plan, organise, and ensure timely delivery of own work and projects.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills when under pressure.
