Job Description:

The IT Project Manager plays a critical role in managing the delivery of IT projects. This role requires a strong project delivery background with a proven track record of successful technology integration & transformation projects in highly regulated industries. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for developing and executing plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to Element’s technology strategy and security standards.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery lifecycle of a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring adherence to standards, security, compliance, and best practices.
  • Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, manage expectations, and build effective relationships.
  • Create and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and risk mitigation.
  • Report on project progress, budget, and risks; resolve issues through strong governance and decision-making.
  • Ensure successful handover to operational teams, providing knowledge transfer, documentation, and training.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success and identify improvements.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years in IT Project Management, with experience in IT Infrastructure transformation, Site facilities, Data Centres, Networks & Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Cyber Security compliance frameworks such as Cyber Essentials.
  • Prince2 Practitioner and/or APM PMQ qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience working within a global, cross-functional team.
  • Commercial awareness with procurement and budget management experience for projects up to £2M.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
