IT Project Coordinator

Overview

We are looking for an organised and proactive IT Project Coordinator to join a growing IT Services business based near Chesterfield. This role would suit someone with experience supporting project delivery within an MSP or IT services environment, who enjoys working across multiple client and internal projects.

You will play a key part in helping the delivery team plan and manage projects, ensuring scheduling, communication and reporting all run smoothly.

The Role

• Support the planning and coordination of IT infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Maintain project plans, schedules and risk logs.
• Track progress and update internal stakeholders and clients on project status.
• Work closely with engineers, delivery managers and senior leadership to ensure milestones are met.
• Prepare documentation, reports and resource plans.
• Assist with change control, governance and delivery tracking.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in an IT Services or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, networks or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Prince2, Agile or ITIL methodologies.Confident using tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet or Jira.
• A proactive and structured approach to managing tasks and priorities.
