About the role… We are excited to be recruiting for an IT Field Engineer Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. Stoneacre continues to expand at a rapid rate due to continued success, with new areas of growth creating key recruitment opportunities within the company. We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in IT infrastructure support to work as an IT Infrastructure Technician. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' previous IT Field Engineering 1st/2nd Line Support experience.
Regular visits to all 60+ locations across the UK will be required. As an IT Field Engineer, reporting to the IT Field Engineering Team Manager, you will join a team responsible for deploying, upgrading, and maintaining the company's core IT systems. Working with the Team Manager, you will identify strategic solutions while ensuring security aspects are always considered. You will also support the IT Service Desk as an escalation point for all infrastructure disciplines. About you… You will have knowledge and experience in IT systems, security principles, and best practices. Ability to manage and contribute to technical documentation, focus on quick solutions, prioritize workloads, and work both independently and as part of a team. You should be willing to attend training to stay updated with the latest technology and internal processes. Technical skills required include knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, hardware fault finding on PCs, laptops, and tablets. Preferred knowledge includes cloud services, Office 365, Azure, and ITIL service processes.
