Employment Specialist – Ealing

Do you want to be part of a friendly & dynamic team of Employment Specialists delivering excellent employment support to our clients in Ealing? If you believe passionately that anyone with mental health difficulties can work and would like to be part of that journey, then this could be the role for you.

About the Role

Individual Placement & Support (IPS) is an internationally‑recognised model for supporting people with Serious Mental Illness back into employment, as part of their recovery and wellbeing. Our IPS team is expanding and working towards high IPS fidelity. You will work in a clinical setting, supporting up to 25 clients, helping them decide what work they want to do, build confidence, create or update CVs and coach them through the job‑search process. You will also provide advice on benefits, contact potential employers, and provide ongoing support once clients are back in work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a caseload of up to 25 clients, supporting each step of the job‑search journey.
  • Partner with clients to develop realistic employment plans and help them acquire necessary skills.
  • Write and maintain detailed, accurate records of client interactions and progress.
  • Network with employers and community partners to secure employment opportunities and share resources.
  • Provide post‑placement follow‑up support to address any workplace challenges.
