We are seeking to appoint an IP and Commercialisation Manager to join the Research and Development Support (ReDS) Team within the Office for Postgraduates, Research and Engagement (OPRE). The role will provide high‑quality support for our research community in the identification, exploitation, management, training, mentorship and advocacy of Intellectual Property. As part of a supportive and forward‑thinking team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of academics, students, graduates and external stakeholders who share a passion for creating positive change. Working closely with staff across a broad range of disciplines, you will target support effectively as we deliver our Vision 2028 ambition to grow research, knowledge exchange and IP & Commercialisation income to increase the economic, social and cultural impact of our activities to the communities we serve.
You will bring experience of successfully identifying, exploiting and managing IP and Commercialisation activities, preferably in an academic environment. With deep knowledge of the IP and Commercialisation landscape, you will have excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders.
