Job summary

A British Council accredited Summer School provider in Bournemouth is looking for Introduction to STEM Teachers to join their team from July 5 to August 5. This role involves teaching and enriching students in STEM subjects, while providing an engaging environment. The ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree in relevant fields and experience in teaching, especially within international settings. Meals and accommodation are included, along with extensive on-site training and DBS checks.

m2r Education are proud to be working with this British Council accredited Summer School provider who are looking for Introduction to STEM Teachers to join them in July.

Location and Dates:

Bournemouth – 5th July to 5th August

Hours:

A normal working week consists of 48.75 hours per week over 6 working days.

All teachers work a 13-session week, with a session being either a morning, afternoon or evening. These 13 sessions are made up of 10 teaching sessions and 1 academic session. Additionally, within the 13 sessions, there are 2 sessions on a non-teaching day, carried out on the students’ arrival and departure day. All teachers will receive one full day off per week.

Requirements
  • A completed undergraduate degree in physics, chemistry, mathematics, natural sciences, engineering or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching in an international environment.
  • Experience of residential international summer schools desirable.
  • UK Right to work.
