Interim Management Accountant - Full time - Based in Worle - £40k (Pro rata) - 3 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a skilled Management Accountant who enjoys making an immediate impact?

Trial Balance Consulting has an exciting3 month fixed term opportunityto join a well-established, forward-thinking organisation during a pivotal period of change.

You’ll be stepping into a supportive and collaborative finance team, playing a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, smooth month-end processes, and insightful analysis that supports informed business decisions. This is a chance to bring your expertise into a role where your input will be valued from day one. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

  • Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts for senior leaders
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Overseeing payroll accuracy and VAT reconciliations.
  • Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes.
  • Monitoring capital expenditure and fixed assets.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements in the finance function.
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues, helping them thrive.
  • Stepping in to support senior finance leaders where required.
