Job summary

A public sector organization in Portsmouth is seeking an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 3-month contract. Overview

Morgan Hunt are pleased to be working with a Public Sector organisation, based in Portsmouth, to recruit an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3 month contract with potential to be extended.

Our client is looking for someone with experience of:

• Preparing a set of management accounts from a trial balance.
• Capital/Lease accounting.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Costings and evaluations of activity.
• Assist with month-end and year end processes.

The Successful Candidate

• A qualified accountant with experience of working in a Further Education setting.
• Experienced and have strong knowledge of Further Education funding streams and the treatment in the accounts.
• An advanced user of Excel.
• Available from mid-October at the latest.

Role Details

This role will be based in the office 4-5 days a week; however some hybrid working can be considered.
